Welcome to the Jobs for Vets
alpha website! Jobs for Vets was built to help veterans of the United
States Armed Forces as they transition from active duty to the private sector. Transitioning veterans look for jobs where they can leverage the skills and experience
they’ve gained from their time in the military. Companies wish to hire veterans because of their desirable blend
of training, experience and motivation. Given the complex nature of today’s employment environment, it is often
difficult to put the two together. Jobs for Vets has been created, with the cooperation and support of the U.S. Department
of Veterans Affairs, to provide a link between transitioning veterans and the employers who want them. In its current form, Jobs for Vets simply
offers single-click access to the “Careers” page on our corporate partners’ websites. The positions
listed on those sites are open to all qualified applicants. The advantage to using Jobs for Vets comes through the knowledge
that our corporate partners are actively seeking qualified veterans to fill available positions, and are committed to providing
opportunities to those who have served so selflessly in the cause of freedom. Jobs for Vets is operated by a team of volunteers. We charge no fees and make no money from the operation of
this site. Our only goal is to help returning service men and women find employment that fits their skills, interests
and abilities.
